Here’s Flip’s short interview with Adrian.
How did you discover your passion for travelling?
My wife and I have always loved to travel – who doesn’t? In the last few years, however, our holidays ment more than the usual „escape” from our 9-to-5 jobs. We discovered beautiful places, met wonderful people and did our best to make each journey memorable. Our jobs still keep us from traveling indefinitely, but my wife and I are planning a few months’ getaway, hopefully for the next year, when we want to explore more in Europe. So, I guess we’re falling in love with travelling every day.
What’s the most horrible experience that you’ve had on the road?
Fortunately we had no horrible experiences so far. There are, however, some less pleasant episodes we could tell you about. I remember our holiday in Turkey this year, when we crossed Bulgaria by car: the navigation system from one of our cars guided us to a nearly impassable road – it took us more than 4 exhausting hours to cover 20 km through the villages of central Bulgaria! Fortunately, our cars were not seriously damaged and eventually we managed to get to the Turkish border safe and sound. As you can guess, we did not use the navigation system on our way back from Turkey!
What’s the best travel experience that you’ve ever had?
I would have to say Paris. We’ve been there four years ago and plan to go again, next year. Naturally, The Eiffel Tower and The Tuileries Gardens where the best places we’ve seen there, but there are lots of other great attractions to visit: the Louvre Museum and the Disneyland Paris are only the first on our list.
What’s the biggest realization that you’ve got out of travelling?
As I said before, we had the chance to discover great places, cultures and people. We feel that traveling is not only the best way to learn about the world we live in, but also a great way to learn about ourselves – as other fellow bloggers said here, traveling helps people discover they have so much in common.
What keeps you going? What keeps you motivated?
We want to learn as much as we can about this world and we only have a life to do that. Why wait?
This is a silly and hypothetical one. If you would be given a chance to travel with a popular person or a celebrity, who would it be and why?
Bear Grylls – there’s no way you could get lost when traveling with Mr. Adventure 
– or Jim Carrey (our all-time favorite comedian) – fun guaranteed!
Where’s your favourite place in this planet and why?
It could be anywhere, as long as there’s a warm sun, a nice sandy beach and a clear turquoise water nearby. You can see now why our blog name is Travel To Sun.
What do you think about yourself?
Adi: Hhmmmm… I think I’ll always be a a child trapped in a grown man’s body . Now don’t get me wrong: I do take care of my responsibilities as a married man and a full-time employee, but (as almost everybody else, I guess) I always tend to look for the fun part in life – I feel that’s the best way to stay young, fresh and open-minded.
Mary: I am more of a romantic kind of person: I love the feeling of freedom I have when I travel and I got butterflies in my stomach every time we start a new adventure.
