I met Kuya Rolly when I was in Coron a couple of weeks ago. He would probably be the only non-blogging person as of now that I have featured here in the ‘Meet the Nomads’ section.
Nevertheless, he’s a true blue backpacker. I was amazed when he told me that he hitched a boat going to Turtle Islands. He also gave me some directions on how to go to the Babuyan Islands.
He’s an inspiration for people who wants to conquer the remote islands of the Philippines.
Rolly is also a professional photographer, if you want to see his works, please visit www.flickr.com/photos/rollymagpayo and watch out for his website in the making http://www.rollymagpayo.com/.
Here’s Flip’s short interview with Kuya Rolly.
