It’s been awhile since I shared with you my list of Top Philippine Travel Blogs. I first listed my favorite blogs last 2010 (you can check it out here) and I want to share with you a new list of Philippine Travel Blogs that I’m following and that I highly suggest you follow as well.

Angel would probably be the only blogger I know that has written extensively about various places to snorkel and dive in the Philippines not to mention other off the beaten path destinations in the country. Make sure to bookmark this blog and follow his adventure.

Ed recently just finished a 9-month long backpacking trip around Southeast Asia. He writes a lot of insightful posts about his experience and you will also find a lot of helpful travel tips in his blog. This is a great blog to follow if you’re into budget traveling as you’ll definitely learn a lot from him.

Lilliane would probably be the only Filipino Travel Blogger that I now that has circumnavigated the world and has traveled to almost all continents in the span of one year. Make sure to bookmark this blog if you’re intending to do the same. You can find a lot of helpful tips including visa applications.

Ivan is one of the most traveled Filipino Travel Bloggers that I know. He’s been to a lot of countries in various continents and I think he’s been to all provinces in the Philippines as well. He’s also been blogging for quite some time and you’ll definitely find a lot of useful information in his blog. Be sure to check his blog out after you read this post.

Albino of IWander has been to places that most of us have only heard of or read about. I’m a big fan of his travels and hope that I could also visit the places that he has been to. To mention a few, he’s been to Iran, Georgia and Bhutan. He also writes a lot of tips that can help all of use travel to these places affordably. You should definitely bookmark this blog.

Christian is one of the most talented photographers out there and the pictures that he shares in his blog is a reason enough to bookmark his blog. He takes mind-blowingly gorgeous pictures, how I wish I could do the same. He also shares a lot of helpful tips about the places that he goes to. Make sure to subscribe to his blog so you could get email updates every time he updates his travel blog.

Marcos of Ambot-ah is another talented photographer and writer that you should follow. He writes a lot about off the beaten path destinations (in the Philippines and Southeast Asia), budget travel and his blog is also a great resource for solo travels. Make sure to follow his blog.

Gabz of Pinoy Travel Freak takes really beautiful pictures. So beautiful, the pictures will make ย you want to get on a bus or a plane immediately. I’m a big fan of this blog and I do suggest that you subscribe to his blog as well. He also writes alot about various local destinations in the Philippines that I’m sure you’ll find very useful.

Olan, a travel blogger from Davao shares a lot of insightful stories, helpful travel tips and amazing pictures in his blog, The Travel Teller. You’ll find a lot of information about off the beaten path destinations in Mindanao and as well as in the other parts of the country.

It’s like it was just yesterday when I first saw Mervin’s blog in PTB and now Pinoy Adventurista is one of the most popular travel blogs in the Philippines. Mervin travels a lot and writes a lot about his trips in various places in the Philippines. You’ll find a lot of helpful information including details on how to go to those places. Be sure to check his travel guides and tips section.

Ada is another travel blogger who takes beautiful pictures. She also writes mini guides about the places that she goes to. She’s been to Japan on her last international trip and wrote a helpful guide for getting a visa, be sure to check that out.

Grace is a Filipina who currently works and lives in California. She shares a lot of her insights about being an expat in the US. She also writes about her travels in the Philippines every time she goes back to our home country.

Claire writes a lot about her first time experiences in various places that she’s been to. I really like Claire’s writing style as it is easy and fun to read with, very conversational, it’s like you were traveling with her every time you read her posts. You can also find a lot of helpful travel tips on her blog.

Mica of Senyorita writes a lot about her hometown Pangasinan and other places around the Philippines and Southeast Asia. She’s also been to UK for a couple of times and you’ll surely find some helpful tips in case you plan to travel to the UK. Mica’s writing style remind me of why we all started to blog in the first place, and that is to share our stories and connect with our readers. Mica does a great job in making sure that she keeps her audience engaged.

Doi of The Travelling Feet writes a lot about budget travelling in the Philippines and Southeast Asia. You’ll find a lot of articles that can help you travel cheaply. I really like reading budget travel blogs as I get to learn new ways of visiting various places without breaking the bank.

I’m amazed to see that are so many travel blogs coming out of the Philippines – I actually found many via Twitter but I’m happy to read your suggestions here too. Very often I feel that the travel blogosphere is dominated by westerners and that ends up spreading a very limited view on the world.. I wish more blogs from Asia (or from other parts of the world – hello Africa?!) would become popular!
