Cottages in Wales

Wales has some of the most beautiful scenery in the British Isles, and is the perfect place to visit for a holiday or short break. The lush Welsh countryside is a riot of verdant greens, with vast areas being largely unspoilt. This is the kind of land that needs to be explored, with a large variety of wildlife, natural wooded footpaths, gorgeous coastline and many ancient ruins to investigate.

Holiday cottages in Wales provide the ideal starting point for all your holiday adventures. Some of you may think you would rather stay in a hotel for reasons of comfort, but some of the cottages on offer in this country are the ultimate in luxury and have to be seen to be believed.

Clyn Felin Fawr, in the Cardigan Bay area, is a three storey converted farmhouse with its own private driveway – a real country getaway. The cottage itself has authentic open stone walls and exposed beams, combined seamlessly with all modern conveniences and luxuries. One of the bathrooms has its own spa bath with jets for relaxing after a busy day, or simply indulging in as part of the holiday spirit.

A vine covered pergola in the enclosed garden is ideal for barbecues, or just to sit with a glass of wine and enjoy the spectacular views the elevated situation provides.

Siabod is near to the Snowdonia mountains and coastline; it is a 5* barn conversion with wood-burning stoves, king size beds and one bedroom on the ground floor adapted for wheelchair users also. Near to the popular tourist area of Llandudno, there is much to see and do in the area – a dry ski slope, cable car, mountain railway and the luscious Bodnant Gardens are just some of the nearby attractions.

Lakeview is just outside the bustling capital of Cardiff – close enough to visit easily, yet far enough to feel like the heart of the countryside, this new build has every modern convenience and comfort you could imagine, and with views over the owners’ private lake, there could not be a better place for a family vacation.
