One of my long time dreams is to visit Egypt. The rich history of ancient Egypt never ceases to amaze me. Maybe because I love history and I love great adventures. Maybe when I could save money to travel that far, I’ll enter Africa through Egypt.
Here are the three Egyptian landmarks that I want to see.
Pyramids

The pyramids may be the most popular landmark in Egypt. The structural design of the pyramids baffled a lot of scientist and historians. A lot of people also think that it’s done with the help of the technology of aliens. I’m not sure if it’s true or not but nevertheless I want to see it and explore its interior. I want to see the secret passages inside and the tomb where Pharaohs lie.
Sphinx

I’m a fan of fabled creatures that only exist in our imagination. For those who are not familiar with it, a sphinx is a mythical creature with a lion’s body and a human head. Some sphinxes also have wings of a bird. The Great Sphinx of Giza, probably one of the most famous is also the largest monolith statue in the world.
Obelisks

Obelisks are popular structures in ancient Egypt. It symbolizes the sun god Ra. It was also thought that the god existed within the structures. Actual reasons why these structures are built are still not clear to many although there are a lot of theories behind it.
I’ll definitely visit these structures when I get the chance to visit Egypt. You can check out Egypt Holidays from UlookUbook to check out the probable cost of your much awaited vacation in one of the world’s most famous destinations.

Cool man, you will make it to Egypt someday for sure!
The favorite temple that I visited while in Egypt was the Temple of Karnak, with a giant hypo-style hall, huge pillars. It was unbelievable!
There are also some other very interesting non-historical sites like the Siwa Oasis, the Sinai, and sailing down the Nile.
Egypt is an awesome country!

And the camels! lol
Egypt is near the top of my list of places to see. I was actually thinking about going there this summer before all the upheaval started in the area. Now, I will probably end up somewhere else. But I know that I’ll make it there.
There are many more things to see in the country, but this list marks off three of the big ones.
